The Charleston Boat Show, now in its 37th year, is considered the kick-off event of the boating season in this coastal market. Due to its popularity and long-term success, the show is consistently sold out of exhibit space several months in advance.
The Charleston Boat Show is where thousands come together to celebrate life on the water, learn about the newest trends in the industry, become educated with great fishing seminars, and of course, the place to experience all the beautiful new powerboats at sale prices. There is no doubt that this market has great strength in the boating world, with its high quality boat dealers, local manufacturers and other marine related companies. Even in the recession, this show remained solid, and has now grown beyond where it was in 2008.
