Robin Zander, lead singer of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick, will make his Broadway debut in the concert event Rocktopia for the final week of its limited engagement, this April 23 to 29. Rocktopia combines 20th century rock music with classical compositions. The musical program features a fusion of composers like Mozart, Bach and Handel with groups like Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, U2 and many more, all backed by a five-piece rock band, a 40-person choir, a 20-piece orchestra and what’s described as an “elite lineup of vocalists.”  Opening night of Rocktopia is Tuesday, March 27 at the Broadway Theatre. You can buy tickets to Rocktopia here via Telecharge.
