Jack White Tribute Album to Be Released Next Week

Cleopatra RecordsDespite the fact that he’s only 38-years-old, Jack White is already a rock icon who has amassed an impressive catalog of music. Now, the singer’s work will be celebrated in a new tribute album, Rockin’ Legends Pay Tribute to Jack White, due out November 19.

As the title suggests, the release features a number of rock veterans performing their own versions of songs from throughout White’s career. The album boasts 14 tracks, including covers of hits from White’s work with The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and from his solo album, 2012’s Blunderbuss.

Among the many artists featured on the album are rockabilly pioneers Wanda Jackson, Sonny Burgess, Johnny Powers and Joe Clay, as well as R&B/rock and roll singer Gary U.S. Bonds, R&B saxophonist Big Jay McNeely, pop singer Bobby Vee and country star Shooter Jennings.
